This campaign aims to raise money for a state-of-the-art video wall that will elevate the historic Rialto Theater, taking events to the next level. Backstage Rialto hopes to raise $25,000 by September 1, 2021, which together with a matching donation by the Rialto Theater and the City of Loveland, will achieve an overall goal of $50,000.

Why this movie?

In 1977, Star Wars became the longest-running feature film in Rialto history, making it the perfect event to begin this campaign as we reimagine our next 100 years in Loveland.

Before the movie, there will be a costume parade on the stage where you can show off your favorite Star Wars movie character in style. All costume participants will receive free popcorn and a drink. After the parade, details will be shared about how you can support the theater and its purchase of a video wall. Finally, you can sit back and experience Star Wars in the historic theater, just how it was meant to be seen.

Take a Seat!

Each $500.00 tax-deductible contribution to Take A Seat! allows you to “take” a seat in the theater with your name, the name of a friend or family member, a special message or an enduring memorial to a loved one. The three-line message of your choice will be engraved on a nameplate and permanently installed on the back of a seat.

You may also choose to gift the seat in someone else’s name. In that case, a card can be sent to announce the gift.

Questions About Take a Seat!

May I choose the actual seat and row for my nameplate?

Yes, as long as the seat does not have a nameplate already placed on it. Seats will be named on a “first come, first served” basis.

Will the seat I name become my seat for actual performances?

No.  The Take A Seat! program features naming opportunities and does not include reserved seating for events.

May I “name” more than one seat?

Yes.  You may name as many seats as you wish.  Each seat is $500.00.  We will locate them together, as long as the seat has not received a nameplate already.
